We Deliver Quality Skills Minimising Unnecessary Frills

With Easter upon us K Lamb Associates continue at pace with the delivery of another SFJ Awards Level 6 Award in Advanced Incident Command in Fire and Rescue Services. This course, hosted by County Durham & Darlington Fire, included delegates from South Wales Fire and Northumberland Fire. The feedback has been positive.

“Well put together course. I loved how efficient the admin was. Everything uploaded on the portfolio, everything simple and clear. The first real leaving experience I've had since I joined the FRS. No fear and open dialogue and debate and coaching.” Dominic Mika, South Wales FRS

“An excellent course with a blended approach to allow my specific needs to be taken account of. Facilitators were polite, knowledgeable and allowed me to be prepared for a challenging but rewarding experience.” Chris McGready, Northumberland FRS

A SFJ Awards-Effective Command-Incident Command Level 3 Revalidation Assessment Day was facilitated in Greater Manchester Fire. The day had 2 delegates both experiencing complex scenarios appropriate to the role. Supported by in-house command support and role play, the delegates got a realistic experience equipping them for commanding real incidents.

“Well run course, well-structured to get the best from the delegates.” Jason Rain, Greater Manchester FRS

West Yorkshire Fire invited KLA to support its latest SFJ Awards Level 3 Award in Initial Incident Command. A locally delivered option, this is where a combination of WYFRS’s IC Training Team and a KLA delivery team deliver the course, delegates are exposed to several scenarios as well as knowledge input.

Another of our coveted SFJ Awards Level 7 Award in Strategic Incident Command SCG Practical Exercises, hosted by Staffordshire Fire’s CCU, was superbly facilitated by Bethan Morgan and her team. Fresh from the 2-day workshop element of the award, delegates from Northamptonshire Fire and Lincolnshire Fire immersed themselves in the realistic SCG meeting surrounded by authentic credible role players.

Katherine Lamb is a firm believer that individuals and their organisations need to invest in quality certified incident command training and assessment.
