Another Promotion Process Successfully Supported
K Lamb Associates are pleased to have been commissioned to support Merseyside Fire in their recent quest to appoint a new Assistant Chief Fire Officer (ACFO). KLA provided a delivery team to facilitate a simulated SCG Meeting designed by us to provide candidates with a realistic challenging scenario with which to play the Fire (GOLD) role. All the candidates were of a strong calibre which meant the engagement from each was first class.
A KLA delivery team once again worked in West Midlands Fire delivering the latest SFJ Awards Level 4 Award in Intermediate Incident Command. A fascinating week during which delegates were exposed to a day of crucial knowledge input followed by formative and summative assessments. Each delegate experiences 12 scenarios in some capacity 2 of which are with them as the IC. A completely immersive course laden with invaluable experiential learning.

KLA’s online offering of the SFJ Awards Level 7 Award for Revalidation of Strategic Incident Command is proving very popular. Warwickshire Fire, Bedfordshire Fire and Hampshire & IOW Fire being the latest recipients of this course. The 2 delegates per day each get the opportunity to chair a SCG meeting with all essential roles being played by KLA Associates. Realistic and credible scenarios all assessing carried out using the Effective Command Behavioural Marking Framework (ICL4 Strategic).
