As summer reaches its peak K Lamb Associates continue to chew up the miles delivering quality Incident Command Training to clients across the country. Traditionally a time when demand for courses drops off, as people enjoy some well-earned rest, KLA will continue to honour our commitments with those services requiring Incident Command Training Courses throughout the summer period.

Devon & Somerset Fire booked KLA to deliver a SFJ Awards Level 4 Award in Designing and Delivering Incident Command Training. A course in 2 parts, phase 1 saw delegates from the hosts joined by delegates from Warwickshire Fire and Cumbria Fire. Phase 2 starts 22nd September giving the delegates time to consolidate their learning.

Cambridgeshire Fire welcomed our team again to facilitate a series of ICL3 Revalidation Assessment Days. Preceding the assessments, CFRS opted to book our 4hr Incident Command Input session delivered by the course director. Aimed as a refresher, delegates find it helpful as a reminder of current IC trends and best practice built up from experienced KLA associates.

“Well run course and assessment, delivered well, with excellent instructor knowledge which will assist me in becoming a better Incident Commander. Thank you.” Richard Boston CFR.

Our first Firefighter Recruit Course in Bermuda is going to plan with some excellent photos and videos already available. We will do a Bermuda special article soon to update everyone on the progress.

Whether you are an Initial, Intermediate, Advanced or Strategic Incident Commander KLA delivers quality training and assessment. Our products also include Fire Control Room Commanders (Level 1 and 2). If you are interested in knowing more about the variety of Incident Command products we deliver or the EC Behavioural Marking Tool, please visit our website and get in touch to speak to one of our team.
