Fire Control Commanders Course....going from strength to strength.
K Lamb Associates delivered another of our SFJ Certificated Fire Control Commanders Courses this time commissioned by Surrey FRS (Fire Control). A 2 person KLA delivery team facilitated the 4-day course with great support from an internal Fire Control Training Lead. The course, that has elements including knowledge input, practical exercises, formative and summative assessments generated fascinating discussion points with Surrey's Fire Control Officers. The course was a resounding success, just look at the feedback. Assessors using the Effective Command Behavioural Marking Framework for Fire Control supported and gave constructive feedback to the delegates.

Elsewhere Joe Hassell Command in partnership with K Lamb Associates facilitated another of the excellent Strategic Fire Commander Refresher and Decision-Making Exercise Days this time with the SLT from North Yorkshire Fire. An immersive experience, all attendees hugely appreciated a day out of their busy schedules to discuss and put into practice Incident Command Decision making skills.

Lincolnshire Fire commissioned KLA to deliver 2 more days of KLA’s SFJ Awards-Effective Command-ICL4 (Tactical) Revalidation Assessments. Four more SLT delegates became fully engaged with the assessment process facing challenging and complex incident simulations based on real risks in their service area. Another example of Fire Service Strategic Commanders wanting to be assessed and prove competent at Incident Command at the highest level. Well done to all the delegates who performed well in challenging circumstances.
