Strategic workshop

Course details -

Delivered with 2 options, firstly, a specifically targeted and relevant case study that incorporates a range of strategic issues to be managed e.g., Lakanal Fire (2009) or secondly a bespoke themed scenario e.g., Flooding, Wildfire, MTA, Major Transport Incident, designed and tailored to your organisations need and based solely on a local risk as detailed in your Community Risk Management Plan (CRMP).

Course content -

This course runs with 12 delegates.

This course consists of:

  • 1 x full day workshop either focusing on a case study or a bespoke themed scenario (or incident type) and decision making exercise based on an FRS risk.

KLA will provide -

  • Facilitation of the presentations and decision making exercise.

  • Handouts and learning material.

  • A strategic level decision making scenario (if requested)

Host service to provide -

  • Relevant information as requested to build the bespoke content and point of contact prior to the workshop

  • All training venues

  • Refreshments as required for the workshops

We come to you!

If you don’t have enough delegates to fill a class, there are two options:

1) You host the event and we invite delegates from neighbouring FRSs to make up the numbers.

2) We arrange for another FRS to host the event and you send your delegates there. In this example, we can arrange hotel accommodation for your delegates and include this on your invoice.
