Incident Command Revalidation Assessment Day
Three more services entrusted K Lamb Associates to deliver for them a SFJ Awards – Effective Command (EC) - Incident Command Level 3 (ICL3) Revalidation Assessment Day. West Yorkshire Fire, Oxfordshire Fire and Greater Manchester Fire provided the delegates who each received a credible, realistic scenario tailored to a risk area in their respective services.
The dedication of KLA’s delivery teams ensure an immersive experience for the delegates. The knowledge and experience gained over many years of exemplary service in some of the busiest Fire Services in the UK adds the real benefit. Couple this with expert use of an assessment tool, the Effective Command Behavioural Marking Tool, delegates receive same day face to face feedback based on their performance. Constructive, honest feedback all honed to develop the delegates in the best way possible.
“An enjoyable day which was run very well. I took a good amount of learning out of the assessment, which I will take forward to applying in real time.”
“The team were all very knowledgeable and were very professional in their approach to delivering the training, conducting the assessment and then feedback.”
KLA also delivered the first annual Effective Command Standardisation and Assessor Training Day to Lincolnshire Fire. It’s LFRS first year as subscribers to the EC Tool and they were keen to understand the data gathered from their service. Not only do we deliver to them national data from more than 47k reports in EC, but time is also spent comparing the national with the local data. Invaluable for the IC training team to use in developing training interventions to address key areas of learning for their commanders.
If your Fire Service is looking for a SFJ Awards Qualification in Fire and Rescue Services, then maybe you should contact us. We can explain more about the SFJ Awards Qualifications and if requested give a demonstration of the Effective Command Tool.
