Course details -
The Certified Instructor course will teach your Training Officers how to facilitate Best Practice Incident Command training using the Effective Command tool kit.
This hands on course will cover the following learning outcomes:
Explain why there is a need for command training and assessment.
Recognise the cognitive processes involved in dealing with incidents.
Facilitate and support a simulation in the context of training and assessment.
Conduct an assessment against the EC Behavioral Markers utilising the XVR simulations.
Supportively conduct a post assessment debrief.
Course Format -
It will build upon any existing Incident Command curriculum currently in use within your department and provide training officers will the skills and resources to deliver immersive simulations to further develop and consolidate the command skills of your officers.
Delivery input tailored to your organisational systems and processes.
Skills input relating to Incident Command & Management.
Scenario based practical exercises.
KLA will provide -
All instructors to deliver the course.
All teaching and assessment material.
Host service to provide -
Training venue.
XVR laptops for their team.

We come to you!
If you don’t have enough delegates to fill a class, there are two options:
1) You host the event and we invite delegates from neighbouring FRSs to make up the numbers.
2) We arrange for another FRS to host the event and you send your delegates there. In this example, we can arrange hotel accommodation for your delegates and include this on your invoice.
